CRSSD Festival

The biannual CRSSD Festival is back on Saturday, March 2, from noon to 11 p.m., and on Sunday, March 3, from noon to 10 p.m. CRSSD is a multi-stage musical festival that features many different artists. This event is located at the Waterfront Park at 1600 Pacific Highway. Loud music and bass from the festival may travel to some of the north- and west-facing units. Please plan accordingly. Five-Year Fire System Repair Reminder

As a follow up to the Association’s five-year fire system inspection, the Association’s fire system vendor has compiled a list of repairs that must be addressed within specific residential units. The repairs are scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 5, through Wednesday, March 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. All units directly affected by these repairs received a courtesy call from the front desk. Please note that some common areas will also be affected by these repairs and we ask that you please use caution when in the common areas referenced in the schedule. In preparation for these repairs, Management requests that all items near or directly under the affected sprinklers be removed prior to the commencement of the repairs. If assistance is needed, please contact Management. Please be advised that the Association will not be able to accommodate schedule changes due to the nature of this project and we request that you please plan accordingly. We thank you for your cooperation with this matter!

Replacement LED Lighting Option

A fellow resident and Board member has identified an LED lightbulb that can be used as an alternative to the compact incandescent lightbulbs standardly used in the can lights located within some residential units. The model of the LED bulb is 5W (original is 13 watts!) LED STICK PL BULB made by SilverLite and it is sold in 2-pack boxes. Please see Management for details.

Resident’s Corner

*BOARD MEETING NOTICE—The next Board meeting has been scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. in the second floor Clubroom. All owners are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

*SAPPHIRE HAPPY HOUR—The next Happy Hour event for Sapphire residents will be held on Thursday, March 7, from 5:00—7:00 p.m. This casual event gives the membership an opportunity to visit with neighbors. It will be held in the Clubroom/pool area on the second floor. Please B.Y.O.B. and feel free to bring an appetizer or snack to share. Please note that plastic cups are required as no glass is allowed in the pool area. Thank you and we hope to see you there!

*BOOK CLUB—The Sapphire Book Club will be meeting in the Clubroom on Tuesday, March 12, at 12:30 p.m. to discuss March’s book selection, “Becoming” by Michelle Obama. Bring your snack/lunch to enjoy!
