Resident Portal — NOW ACTIVE — PLEASE READ!

As of Tuesday, October 16th, 2018, Action switched from utilizing the VIVO Portal to the new Resident Portal! As a reminder, Action Property Management sent out emails to all active VIVO Portal users this past week which provided basic information on how to log in to the new Resident Portal. If you have not merged into the new Resident Portal, please do so by logging into your Vivo Portal and merging your account. All residents may use the same email previously used in the Vivo Portal as the Vivo Portal will no longer be utilized. Please contact Management for a flyer which includes more information regarding the new Resident Portal. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the new Resident Portal or merging accounts, please contact the Management Office.

Window Washing—Completed

The window washers have completed all exterior windows! If you would like to have your balcony windows and/or interior windows cleaned, please contact Joe with DMS Window Cleaning at (619) 520-9165 for a free quote!      

Preconstruction Update

Management would like to thank all Sapphire Residents for their assistance and patience throughout the pre-reconstruction investigations. Nautilus was able to access all units and complete all necessary inspections! Should you have any questions or concerns regarding reconstruction, please contact the Management Office. Further updates will be provided in the future.

Kettner Traffic Complaints

As you may know, the pedestrian crossing at Kettner Blvd and A Street can be challenging and dangerous. Members requested that contact information for traffic enforcement be provided to the membership so that residents can report incidents as they occur. In researching for the best contact to provide, it was determined that complains should be made to City Council Member, Chris Ward, in order to address this issue. Residents are also instructed to contact the Traffic Division to report incidents. Please find the Traffic Division and Chris Ward’s contact information below:

Large Party Reminder

As a helpful reminder, below is a list of items to remember while celebrating this holiday weekend:

¨ Events or gatherings of twenty (20) persons or less may be held within a Residential Condominium by simply providing verbal notice to the General Manager. To ensure your event goes smoothly, please provide a guest list to the front desk staff, which will aid the front desk staff in assisting your guests.

¨ Safety and Noise. Please use common sense and courtesy in regard to voice levels, unnecessary noises and boisterous conduct. This includes, but is not limited to: televisions, radios and/or other sound emitting devices. Keep the volume at a reasonable level at all times so other Residents are not disturbed. AFTER 10:00 P.M., THE VOLUMES OF ALL DEVICES SHOULD BE SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED TO KEEP FROM DISTURBING OTHER RESIDENTS (this includes bringing guests in from the balcony area).

¨ Please ensure that guests are not being disruptive on any residential balcony and that debris is not permitted to fall off your balcony. Guests should be asked to come in from the balcony after 10:00 p.m., to ensure noise is reduced. The Association and your neighbors appreciate your cooperation with these matters.

Resident’s Corner

*BOARD MEETING NOTICE—The next Board meeting has been scheduled for Monday, November 26th, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. in the second floor Clubroom. All owners are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

*BOOK CLUB—The Sapphire Book Club will be meeting in the clubroom on Tuesday, November 13th, at 12:30 p.m. to discuss November’s book selection, “Behold the Dreamers” by Imbolo Mbue. Bring your snack/lunch to enjoy!

*SAPPHIRE HAPPY HOUR—The next Happy Hour event for Sapphire residents will be held on Thursday, November 1st, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. This casual event gives the membership an opportunity to visit with neighbors. It will be held in the Clubroom/pool area on the second floor. Please B.Y.O.B. and feel free to bring an appetizer or snack to share. Please note that plastic cups are required as no glass is allowed in the pool area. Thank you and we hope to see you there!

*SAPPHIRE’S ELECTION DAY POLLING PLACE—Election day is less than two (2) weeks away! Management has researched Sapphire’s polling place for 2018 and has learned that the new polling place for Sapphire will now be at the St. Joseph Cathedral-Auditorium located on 1528 4TH AVE., SAN DIEGO, CA 92101.  The polling place will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day only!
