Resident Portal—PLEASE READ!

As some of you may know, the VIVO Portal is a tool used to access unit information, which includes submitting work orders, downloading documents, signing up for e-Statements, updating contact information and making online payments. Beginning on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018, Action will be switching from VIVO Portal to the new Resident Portal! Please note that Action will be sending emails to all active VIVO Portal users this week, which will provide basic information on how to log into the new Resident Portal. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Management Office.

Management Office Closure—Out of Office

The Management Office will be closed beginning Thursday, October 18th, through Friday, October 19th. All correspondence will be returned starting Monday, October 22nd. Please be advised that the weekly newsletter will not be distributed on Friday, October 19th. If you are in need of immediate assistance during this time, please contact the front desk at (619) 237-8079 or at (619) 376-9906.

Window Washing Update

The window washers have completed the south and west elevations and are currently on the north and east elevations of the building. Please see the schedule posed in the mailroom which provides specific details and updates. Please be advised that the schedule is subject to change. Remember that the Association is not able to clean residential balcony windows. If you would like to have your balcony windows and/or interior windows cleaned, please contact Joe with DMS Window Cleaning at (619) 520-9165 for a free quote!            

Preconstruction Update

Management would like to urge all owners who have been contacted by Nautilus to schedule their investigations accordingly. Please note that postponing the scheduling process will also delay the investigation phase. In the event that you have not been contacted or have any questions or concerns regarding the schedule, please contact Lindsay O’Donnell. See below for her contact information.

Common Area—Floor Care

On Monday, October 15th, from 8:00am to 4:00pm, the Association’s janitorial company, P.M.S., will be cleaning the second floor hallway, restrooms and the pool and spa deck area. The Clubroom carpet will also be cleaned. During this time, the Association would like to request that you please use caution while in the common areas as the janitorial crew may be working and the floor and carpet may be slightly wet.

Kettner Traffic Complaints

As you may know, the pedestrian crossing at Kettner Blvd and “A” Street can be challenging and dangerous. Members requested that contact information for traffic enforcement be provided to the membership so that residents can report incidents as they occur. In researching for the best contact to provide, it was determined that complains should be made to City Council Member, Chris Ward, in order to address this issue. Residents are also instructed to contact the Traffic Division to report incidents. Please find the Traffic Division and Chris Ward’s contact information below:

Committee Formation Requests

During the August 27th Board of Directors meeting, a member of the Association requested that the Board permit the formation of a new Neighborhood Committee. The Neighborhood Committee will serve the purpose of monitoring public and/or private initiatives to evaluate the impact of those initiatives on the Sapphire Tower property and membership.

Also, the Association is still looking for members to volunteer on one or more of the following Committees:

Landscaping—Requires two (2) additional members to activate the Committee.

Social—Requires three (3) members to activate the Committee.

Please fill out a Committee Volunteer form and submit the form to Management if you are interested in participating on one or more of the Association’s Committees. Feel free to contact Management if you have any questions or concerns relating to Committee involvement.

Deliveries and Elevator Use Reminder

As you may know, Sapphire requires that all residents schedule and confirm all deliveries, furniture removals, moves and contractor work with the front desk Assistant or Management before proceeding. This will ensure that the elevator is available and that there is no conflict or inconvenience during your expected delivery, move or contractor work. Please be advised that deliveries, furniture removals and moves will not be allowed if they are not scheduled and confirmed with the front desk Assistant or Management. By assisting us with this matter, we are able to better serve you! Thank you for your cooperation with this matter!

Resident Guest Reminder

Management would like to remind all residents that guests must be accompanied by residents at all times within the common areas. This includes, but is not limited to: the Fitness Center, Club room, BBQ area and the Pool and Spa. Please contact management with any questions or concerns you may have. Thank you!
