Preconstruction Update

As you may know, the preconstruction investigations began earlier this week! Owners will receive notice regarding schedules from the Nautilus Construction crew. Sapphire’s 10-Year End-of-Summer Celebration—Thank you!

The Board and Management would like to thank all residents who attended the End-of-Summer Celebration this past weekend! We would also like to give a special thank you to Steven Gennaro, Wayne Bardwell & Barbara Dunning with the coordination of the event and ensuring that the event was special!

Kettner Traffic Complaints

As you may know, the pedestrian crossing at Kettner Blvd and “A” Street can be challenging and dangerous. Members requested that contact information for traffic enforcement be provided to the membership so that residents can report incidents as they occur. In researching for the best contact to provide, it was determined that complains should be made to City Council Member, Chris Ward, in order to address this issue. Residents are also instructed to contact the Traffic Division to report incidents. Please find the Traffic Division and Chris Ward’s contact information below:

Window Washing Update

The Association is currently coordinating a window washing cycle. This cycle is tentatively scheduled to begin the first week of October. Further information and a detailed schedule will be provided in the near future. Please contact the Management Office with any questions or concerns you may have.

Committee Formation Requests

During the August 27th Board of Directors meeting, a member of the Association requested to form a new Neighborhood Committee. The Neighborhood Committee will serve the purpose of monitoring public and/or private initiatives and evaluate the impact of those initiatives on the Sapphire Tower property and membership.

Also, the Association is still looking for members to volunteer on one or more of the following Committees:

Landscaping—Requires two (2) additional members to activate the Committee.

Social—Requires three (3) members to activate the Committee.

Please fill out a Committee Volunteer form and submit the form to Management if you are interested in participating on one or more of the Association’s Committees. Feel free to contact Management if you have any questions or concerns relating to Committee involvement.

Trash & Debris—Common Area Reminders

Over the last few weeks, Staff has found many trash debris items being left on the floor, in the stairwells, in between parking spaces and on top of the electrical boxes throughout the garage. These items range from miscellaneous trash to drinks and food! Please be reminded that you must dispose of all items, especially food in their correct containers. When in the garage, the main refuse room is located on parking level one. Your neighbors and Staff thank you for your cooperation with this matter as it not only helps with cleanliness, but assists in maintaining the property pest free!

Unclaimed Bicycle

Management was recently informed of a red “next” bike located on parking level 5. Both the bicycle and bicycle rack are not marked. Please see the photo posted in the mailroom and contact Management if this is your bicycle no later than Friday, October 12th.

*BOARD MEETING NOTICE—The next Board meeting has been scheduled for Monday, September 24th, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. in the second floor Clubroom. All owners are encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!
