Friday Update - June 15, 2018

Lower Level Balconies and Patios—Falling Debris!!!

In every high-rise building there is a constant need to remind residents and guests to be mindful of the neighbors below. Whether it be liquid or cigarette butts, the owners on lower level floors are forced to clean up all fallen debris. While it may not be intentional, falling debris is an inconvenience for your neighbors, and in some cases, damages property. Please use an ashtray to dispose of your cigarette butts and avoid allowing trash to fall down onto your neighbors below. We thank you very much for your cooperation!

Residential Carpet Cleaning

On Monday, June 18th, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, the Association’s janitorial company, P.M.S., will be cleaning all residential hallway carpets. During this time, the Association requests that you please use caution while in the common areas as the janitorial crew may be working and the carpets may be damp.

Deliveries and Elevator Use Reminder

As you may know, the Sapphire Rules require that all residents schedule and confirm all deliveries, furniture removals, moves and contractor work with the front desk Assistant or Management before proceeding. This will ensure that the elevator is available and that there is no conflict or inconvenience during your expected delivery or work. Please be advised that deliveries, furniture removals and moves will not be allowed if they are not scheduled and confirmed with the front desk Assistant or Management. By assisting us with this matter, we are able to better serve you! Thank you for your cooperation with this matter!

Plumbing Reminders

Plumbing in a hire-rise building is much different than the plumbing you would find in a single family home. In an effort to further educate all residents on this topic, Management has compiled a list of plumbing related reminders which will help all residents prevent back-ups and other plumbing issues. Please remember to always call a licensed and insured plumber and notify the front desk staff when dealing with leaks and backups immediately! Please contact Management for a copy of the plumbing reminders or with any questions you may have. Thank you!

Friday Update - June 8, 2018

Trespassing Incident and Safety Reminders

On Monday, June 4th, 2018, a young white male scaled the rear stairwell fence by the pool. Fortunately, an owner of ours was walking their dog when the trespassing event occurred and she immediately reported the matter to the front desk. The male made his way into the building where he found the elevator and immediately made his way out of the building as he could not access other common areas. While Sapphire is an enclosed property, it is important to remember to always lock your front door when you leave your home and to make sure that no personal belongings are being stored in the common area. We also recommend that residents keep their cell phone on them at all time to ensure that you can call the front desk or the police in the event you need assistance and if you encounter an event such as trespassing. Please note that the Board intends to discuss this matter at the next Board meeting to determine if further security measures should be implemented. Please contact Management with any questions or concerns.
